"POP! Goes My Heart"


81年出生的我,算是經歷了80s,也是現在所謂的"復古"。雖然國中時期馬上進入90s,但八零年代的特色卻是非常令我印象深刻。

今天和Jean看了電影Music and Lyrics,片子一開頭就是這個仿80s的音樂錄影帶,跟我年紀相仿以及更年長的人看到這個片段,應該都會被其中的橋段逗的會心一笑吧?!裡面的舞蹈動作,音樂風格,MV鋪陳及特效手法堪稱是經典,休葛蘭先生也真的是完全突破以往英國紳士的形象,做出一些現在看起來搞笑到不行,但在八零年代可是帥到不行的動作;這首歌曲在片中也出現了幾次,劇中師奶級粉絲陶醉在說是過時,但又朗朗上口的歌曲中,有點像是我對take that的感覺吧! 心中總有那麼一小塊地方,是不論到幾歲,都存在的少女的瘋狂與回憶。

這是一部輕鬆又帶點溫馨回憶的電影,裡面有一兩個片段讓我覺得滿有感觸,(P.S.如果不想先知道內容的人就不要看下去囉~)

第一是感受到那種過氣歌手,為了求生存,什麼活動都接,也因此讓自己與現實生活妥協,當然不只歌手囉,自己想想,好像有時也會與人事物妥協,有些事情要適時讓步,但有時候在不停的妥協中,是否也迷失自我呢?
另一個是男主角Alex想經由女主角Sophie前男友的書中認識Sophie,卻在兩人起爭執的時候對Sophie說出她最畏懼的事實,雖然Sophie傷透了心,但事實是如此,Sophie一直無法跳脫被前男友欺騙與其著作中暗批Sophie文筆不好的事情,因次把自己陷入一個情境之中,因此提到關於"前男友"就變成她的死穴,在劇中Sophie也反問若是他被一些在樂壇具有份量的前輩批評不會做音樂,會如何反應?Alex說他會很鬱卒,我想這也是人之常情,在最重視的人面前會希望有最好的表現,獲得好的評語,但不能獲得認同的時候,也不能完全否定自己,因為那也不過是其中一個人的意見罷了,片中Alex在遊樂園做小型表演的時候,一度無法表演下去,但Sophie跟他說做讓人開心的事,所以是很棒的表演,或許有的時候該回到做一件事情的本質,而不是去想它的附加價值會讓人更開心。

由Hugh Grant與Hayley Bennet唱的版本,在電影與原聲帶中也可以聽到Drew的版本,她的歌聲也很不錯
